Christmas Jumper Day!

The children have had a wonderful time in their Christmas jumpers today - its really got them even more excited than they were before, if that's possible! Here's a little picture of some of the older children and staff...

Pre-School Christmas Concert - 'The Wonder of Winter' 2nd (pm) & 4th (am) December 2014

Dress rehearsals for our annual pre-school Christmas concert are underway this week.  Letters have been previously sent out to all our performers - please note this concert is for the older side of the nursery only.  We have sent out ticket order forms to all our performers and also dvd order forms. Please return your orders by the dates stated. Thank you!

OFSTED OUTSTANDING!

Congratulations to all our wonderful staff on achieving an OUTSTANDING grade in our recent OFSTED inspection.  Considering we are undergoing a refurbishment we are still carrying on in the way our parents are accustomed to - quality education and care for your children in a home from home environment.  Well done to all our staff, the level of commitment that they give to the nursery and children is truly commendable and to be rewarded with an Outstanding is the best reward of all. Congratulations everyone!

2/3 Welcome Evening - Cancelled due to refurbishment

Just to let you know that due to the current refurbishment of the nursery school we are cancelling our welcome evening due to be held this Wednesday 12th November.  We will be producing an information leaflet highlighting all the relevant points we would have discussed at this meeting.  If you have any concerns/issues please contact us. Children In Need Friday 14th November - UPDATED* Photos!

Just a reminder as I'm sure you'll have seen our posters at nursery school - we are dressing up as Superheroes for Children In Need this Friday!  We will also be holding our famous Queen of Hearts cake sale and our staff have their aprons ready for a competitive bake off .  Cake donations from parents will be most graciously received as usual.  I better start my diet now...

Baby Rooms Official Opening * UPDATE * Photos added!

Our beautiful new baby rooms are going to be open for business on Monday 3rd November 2014.  This is a very exciting time for us and marks a new era for the Queen of Hearts.  Our parents, please note that we have also had a slight logo update which reflects the changes within the nursery - I'm sure you'll all agree with us that it looks amazing and still encompasses our vision for the future.  We will be opening the rooms up between the hours of 4.00pm - 5.30pm Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th November for our parents to come and look around but here's a little sneak peak for you...
