The Queen of our Hearts
Four years have passed since the day we first met,
I remember the cries, on the first day I left.
My boy who was entrusted to the queen of my heart
And today it has come for our youngest to depart.
But it’s time for joy, as our journey goes on,
In the knowledge that you have instilled a spirit so strong
In the roots of our siblings, watered and firm
And a spirit, a knowledge that you loved them so dear.
To know without thought and to care without knowing,
We even remember the days when it’s been showing
To nurture like a fire on a cold winter’s night
Your warmth, devotion has brought us delight.
We’ve gone on holiday and seen a grumpy sheep,
We’ve wished upon a Christmas and could not sleep.
And then we dreamed and wished upon a start
To see a rainbow fish come from afar.
Parlez vous Français and no drama from a crisis
The games you play turn our kid’s devices
To inspire, to ignite their minds, their brains
And it does not even matter, if it rains.
For you have brought joy and light to our lives,
Our children have grown more than we could realise
Nourishment of the mind fills the soul so deep
A heart so warm that enables us to sleep
In the knowledge that you’re very special

As the drama unfolds you can do no wrong
