Hello to Rosalind Miller, one of our past pupils currently in her second year of university - studying in Beijing!  She is currently writing a blog about her experiences which can be found at:

Rosalind started learning Chinese at SOAS in London last year.  Her first introduction to foreign languages was at the Queen of Hearts around 16 years ago!  Good luck with your studies Rosalind, we will be following your progress rather like a proud parent..

Butterfly Release!

The children have been learning about lifecycles in the nursery and one of our past pupils kindly bought us a Butterfly Garden as a leaving present. We have had fun watching and feeding the caterpillars and the children have been fascinated by their change to chrysalises. The children especially enjoyed the release of our adult butterflies in our garden.

We will be having a YELLOW day in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care on Wednesday 12th September 2012. Please help us to support this very worthy charity by dressing your children in YELLOW – this can either be clothes or just adding a yellow accessory! We will also be holding a cake sale on this day and would be very appreciative of any donations.

THANK YOU!
