Christmas closing and New Year opening times

The nursery will be closing at 4:00pm on
Wednesday 24th December 2008
and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2009

19th January - Police and Road Safety
26th January - Dentist
2nd February - Doctor, Nurses and an Ambulance
9th February - Refuse collection/recycling
16th February - Firefighters
23rd February - Helping each other

Team of the Year 2008

On Thursday the 28th November Mrs Parker, Gail Cowley, Gemma Lane, Julia-Anne Parker, Claire Thomas, Bev Chapman and Amy White attended the Business of Exellence Awards which were being held at The Barcelo Hotel in Daventry. The Queen of Hearts Nursery School had been nominated and short listed for three awards Team of the Year, Training and Development and An Unsung employee - Gemma Lane. This was a huge achievement as we were competing against businesses all over Northamptionshire.

At the event we were annouced as the winner of the Team of the Year and were presented with a trophy, certificate and a bottle of champgane by the sponser of the award - Stanair.

New arrival

We would like to annouce that Clare Treacy has had a baby boy called Charlie Lucas Cuthbert. He was born on Tuesday 25th November at 9:57pm weighing 8lbs 8 oz. Mum and baby are
doing well.
