One of our parents in line for top award!

Congratulations to one of our parents, Dr Miten Ruparelia, for being nominated in the Health Service journal to be in the running to be named Clinical Leader of the year. Miten is a GP and partner at the Woodsend Medical Practise. Driven by a passion to improve patient care and provide health services on the doorstep for Corby residents, the doctor's success has resulted in a 25 per cent cut in referrals to the Kettering hospital and a saving of £1m. The ceremony will be announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, in November.They have shortlisted 10 candidates out of hundreds so huge congratulations Miten, we all have our fingers crossed for you!

Halloween Dress Up Thursday 31st October

Just a reminder to dress up in your spookiest or favourite dressing up costume on Thursday 31st October (if you are in that day)to join us in our Halloween festivities. The staff will be joining the children in the dress up fun so get your thinking hats on and see who can wow us with their imaginative costumes.

Queen of Hearts Scarecrow Festival!

As part of our Harvest topic we had a scarecrow making competition at nursery this morning. The staff all made scarecrows with the children in their respective rooms and they are currently on display in the older side reception. The children had great fun making them and they all made winning scarecrows as it was too hard to choose one outright winner. Well done!

2/3 Year Information Evenings 22nd & 23rd October 7.00pm

Just a little reminder that our information evenings are being held next week for all our parents with children on the 2/3 side. This is an important evening which will explain what you can expect from your child's time on this side of the nursery school and discuss your children's development. We will also be explaining what your child will be doing over the next year.We highly recommend that you attend and each evening should last for approximately one hour. If you haven't already sent your reply slip back to nursery please ring the office and speak to Caroline or Emma to book your place.

Menu update

As you will have noticed there has been no new menu updated on our blog due to a blip in the system thanks to Google.  As this is their problem, even our techie is unable to help at present, so its a case of waiting for Google to resolve it.  The menus are updated on the boards in reception, or if you need to know what the menu will be in advance, please ring or email the office and i'd be more than happy to tell you.

Apparently, Google engineers are working on this problem - watch this space!
