Leaver's Concerts 1st & 3rd July

Just a reminder to get your tickets for our annual Leaver's concert if you haven't already! The Tuesday afternoon concert starts at 2.15pm and Thursday morning 10.15am. They will not be available to purchase on the door - please ring/email/pop into the office to preorder your tickets.  They are £2.50 each and any not collected beforehand will be taken to the church for collection on the door.

Leaver's Photograph

Just a reminder that our annual leaver's photo for all our pre-school children starting school in September will be tomorrow (Wednesday 25th June).  Please drop your child off at 9.30am if this isn't their usual session and pick up at 10.20am. You should all have had a letter if this applies to your child.  See you tomorrow morning!

Time For Our Frogs to Hoppit!

The children have enjoyed watching their tadpoles gradually evolve into little frogs these last few weeks.  Finally it was time to release the frogs into the big, wide, Queen of Hearts garden.  I hope you all enjoy the excitement written all over the children's faces as much as we did!

Butterfly Release

Our lovely caterpillars, a source of much fascination over the younger side of the nursery have transformed into beautiful butterflies and been released into the garden.  The children had a wonderful time exploring the incredible changes over the last few weeks and were delighted to see the butterflies fly off into the big, wide world!

Today's the day for our PINK Day Dress Up & Cake Sale!

Just a quick reminder that today is our fundraiser for Cancer Research.  We are holding a PINK dress up/fancy dress & cake sale on both sides of the nursery.  Thank you so much for the staff and parent donations so far - lots of you have been very, very busy baking last night and we really appreciate it!  Don't forget your pennies when picking up your children as they've been eyeing up the cakes all morning...

 

 

Missing Bag.

One of our pre-schoolers has lost her red school bag.  Unfortunately, her name is not on the bag as it has been passed down from sibling to sibling and the original name has worn off with time.  If anyone has taken this bag home by accident please can you return it asap.  Thank you!

Welcome Evenings 11th & 12th June 2014

We will be holding Welcome Evenings for our existing parents and our new parents who have recently confirmed their children's places for the summer on Wednesday 11th June & Thursday 12th June at 7.00pm. 

This will be an opportunity to meet Charles Eggleston (Chief Executive Officer, Treetops Nurseries), Isabel Garvey (Director of Childcare) and Sarah Blythe (Area Manager).  It will also provide an introduction for all our parents at the Queen of Hearts Nursery School into the Treetops family.
